The Broadwater Parklands – Marine Parade, Southport

This playground is a sure-fire hit with kids of all ages. From the Rockpools water playground for the aqua-loving littlies, to action-loving bigger kids playing on the swings, peddle bikes, and flying fox!

With Café Rockpool not far, it is a great place for a play and meal. Codrington Park, Pacific Pines – Laughlen Chase, Pacific Pines

This park is aimed at older kids – with plenty of climbing structures and a flying fox, they’ll be entertained for hours. It has plenty of seating, BBQ areas, and picnic tables that are perfect for you to sit back and watch the kids burn off all that energy.

You can enjoy a beautiful walk along the boardwalk and show littler kids the wonders of nature as well.

Palm Beach Parklands is home to an awesome, themed playground – Treasure Island Playground. This park is perfect for swashbuckling youngsters who just want to be a pirate. If this sounds like your little one, Palm Beach Parklands is the place for you.

Let your kids go on a treasure-hunting adventure, all within eye-sight of you, and then come in for a picnic lunch to re-fuel. Also with the Dune Café, you can grab a coffee or some food and you’re set for the day.

Faerie Park, Merrimac – 7A Inwood Circuit, Merrimac

If your kids are into everything magical – the Faerie Park is the place for you! From brightly-coloured toadstools to a troll bridge and a goblin cave – this is the perfect place to let little imaginations soar.

Your kids will be able to play for hours in a fantasy land of their choosing – and then come back in for lunch with the family. Make sure to pack everything you need, as this is a play park only – no amenities or BBQs.
