My family had a lot of fun reviewing the Toy Story pack for Disney Infinity. Every pack opens up a whole new world with lots of challenges and tasks to keep both little and big kids entertained. I am a little frustrated that we have to wait until Christmas Day to open and use the other packs we got for the kids! The little kids have a lot of fun giving me advice on what they want me to do and the bigger kids are better than me at it, which is hard on the ego, but fun when playing together.
The toy story pack was a little different to Monsters Inc, Pirates and the Incredibles as there were a lot fewer elements from the movies as in the other packs. This does not detract from the adventure at all and seems to have freed the game designers up to be even more creative. All of the characters from the movie have important roles and the budding space rangers in particular will be very happy with the Toy Story world.
Once you have the basic pack, new figures open up whole new worlds and hours of gaming at very reasonable prices. Disney is Disney, the quality is first rate, the game play is challenging enough for all ages and the Toy Box allows imaginations to go wild.
We are almost looking forward to some rainy days over the holidays!!!
