I’ve done a little research, and have been able to come up with some pretty great parks you should definitely try out with the kids. In no particular order, here are 5 of the best parks in Adelaide.

Glover Playground – Le Fevre Tc, North Adelaide

Glover Playground will keep your kids entertained for hours on end! With its new-age apparatus that looks like it could even be from the future, your kids will go mad for this park. It is fully equipped with shady spots, toilets, parking, tables and chairs, and a BBQ area, so any day out would be great at this park.

Jubilee Adventure Playground – Saltfleet St, Port Noarlunga

This playground is always bustling with happy kids and content parents. Jubilee Adventure Playground is a perfect place to spend the day. With both old-style, wooden playgrounds, and new, interactive play equipment, this park is sure to suit the whole family. It has BBQ facilities and lots of tables and chairs, a big car park and toilet block. This park great for a fun day out.

Dunstan Adventure Playground – Winchester St, St Peters

With its “mega-long slide” and “suspension bridge”, Dunstan Adventure Playground is sure-fire hit with the kids. I think I’d even want to try out this “mega-long slide”. With heaps of other equipment to play on, this park is excellent for families looking for a quick bit of fun, and for those looking for a great day out.

Kurrangga Park BMX Track – Corner Unley Rd & Greenhill Rd, Adelaide

Is your child into bike riding? Check out the awesome BMX track at Kurrangga Park and let them loose. This park is best for slightly older children with some skills on a bike, though it does have beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks, this park is great for any skill level. Take along a picnic lunch and watch your kids burn off all that energy.

Marshmallow Park – Glen Osmond Rd, Adelaide

If the name alone doesn’t get the kids interested, Marshmallow Park is full of fun things to do as well! With tennis and basketball courts, a bike track, and play equipment, this park is sure to please all the kids. It’s big enough that lots of different groups of people can all be there comfortably, and BQQ facilities, toilets, and carparking to make the day easier.
