Collage of back to school items and accessoriesYou seem to need so much stuff to go to school – stationery, uniforms, school bag, library bag, sports bag, lunchboxes…

I’m out of breath just reading that.

Then you need to label it and cover it to ensure that Little-Mister-Grown-Up doesn’t lose it in week one.

With so much to do – and so little time – we’ve put together a great little guide to some of the funky products you can buy for your kids.

Name Label packs

You can find great name label packs at heaps of different stores. These packs have everything from bag labels, shoe labels, to labels for lunchboxes, clothes, socks, books, and pencils. They have iron-on labels, stick-on labels, bag tags, allergy alert labels, and address labels. Basically anything you can think of!

Allergy Alert Labels

If your child has an allergy to anything, it is vital that people know about it wherever they go. Allergy alert labels are a fantastic way to tell supervisors or other kids what may be wrong if your child is in the midst of a reaction.  Any situation can get serious if the person in charge doesn’t know about an allergy and the child isn’t in a position to tell them. Having an allergy alert label can help avoid any dangerous situations.

Swim Bags

In summer, swimming time at school is very looked forward to. Having a cute and fun swim bag to take all their swimming gear can make your kids look and feel stylish, and can make them the envy of their friends.

Library bags

Remembering to take library books to school when they need to can be difficult for some kids. If they have a funky and cool library bag, they’ll always want to have it with them, and then they’ll never forget their books again.

Lunchboxes

Lunchboxes are an essential item for school. Finding one that does everything that you want it to can be difficult, especially with the huge range of types to choose from. Whether you want a soft lunch bag or a hard lunchbox, whether it needs to keep things cool or temperature isn’t an issue, whether you want multiple compartments or just one big space to put everything, look online to see what’s available for you and your child.

Sandwich Wraps and Pockets

Eating out of plastic wrap or a zip-lock bag every day can make even the yummiest sandwiches seem boring and not so tasty. With a cool sandwich wrap or pocket, you can keep your kid’s lunch looking good. You can make them yourself if you’re a crafty person, or buy a funky one online.

Book Covers

Covering your kid’s books will make them individualised and cool. You can go to the newsagent or an office supply store to find plain covers and decorate them yourself, buy interesting patterned ones, or take a look online at some options with funny cartoons or other designs.
